What actually happens at the consultation
- We come to you — the design happens in the room, not over a phone call
- Every wall, outlet, vent, baseboard and door swing gets measured to the inch
- We go through what you own: how much hanging, how many shoes, what never has a home
- You'll see finish and hardware samples in your own light, against your own floor
- It's free and there's no obligation — plenty of these end with no sale, and that's fine

- Glass-front doors where you want things visible, solid where you don't

What Goes Into the Number.
The design is free. What it costs to build depends on what you choose during it — so here's an honest look at which decisions move the price and which barely register.
The size of the space
Linear feet of wall we build against. This is the floor your project starts from, before any option is added.
Hanging vs. built-ins
Rods and adjustable shelving are the affordable backbone of any design. Drawers and doors are joinery — that's where a design gets expensive, and where it gets good.
Finish and hardware
White melamine is the workhorse and looks clean in almost any room. Wood-grain, matte, glass fronts, and upgraded pulls each step it up.
Islands and counters
An island is a freestanding piece of cabinetry with a top. It's usually the largest optional item in a design — and it needs the floor space to be worth it.
Lighting
Integrated LED under shelves and inside glass cabinets is the detail people notice most. It means running power, so decide early rather than late.
How many rooms at once
Designing the primary, the guest room, and the linen closet in one visit costs less per closet than three separate projects.
