Introduction

Atlantic Source ("we," "our," or "us") is a custom home organization and design company based in Sussex County, Delaware. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at atlanticsource.net, submit a form, or interact with our services. By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Personal information you provide directly:

  • Name, email address, and phone number submitted through our contact and consultation forms
  • Home address or project location when scheduling an in-home consultation or preparing a proposal
  • Any additional details you choose to share about your project

Information collected when you receive a proposal or sign a contract:

  • The details of your project agreement, and — when you sign electronically through our secure client portal — your typed or drawn signature, along with the date, time, and IP address of signing, retained as a record of your electronic signature
  • Payment information you enter to pay a deposit or balance. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card or bank account numbers

Information collected automatically:

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Pages visited, time spent on site, referral sources, and — through our analytics tools — recordings of general page interactions such as mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling (see Section 4)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and contact form submissions
  • To schedule and conduct free in-home consultations
  • To provide our custom closet, Murphy bed, epoxy flooring, and home organization services
  • To send project updates, follow-up communications, and service-related information by email and, where you have provided your number, by text message and phone (see Section 5)
  • To prepare proposals, process contract signatures, and accept payments for your project
  • To send promotional materials, new-service announcements, special offers, and newsletters by email — to customers who have entered into a project agreement with us (as described in our Terms of Service), or to others who have given consent. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email (see Section 8)
  • To improve our website, services, and overall customer experience
  • To analyze website traffic and usage patterns

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, measure our advertising, and gather analytics data. These include:

  • Essential cookies — required for basic website functionality such as navigation and form submissions
  • Advertising & conversion cookies — set by Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our ads and understand which visits lead to consultation requests. These may be used to show you our ads on Google and Meta platforms
  • Analytics & session-recording toolsMicrosoft Clarity and Metricool help us understand how visitors use our site. Microsoft Clarity may record general page interactions (such as mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and pages viewed) to produce anonymized heatmaps and session replays; these recordings are used only to improve the site and are not used to identify you
  • Preference cookies — remember your settings and choices to improve your experience on return visits

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance or your Google and Meta ad-settings pages. Disabling certain cookies may limit some website functionality.

Text Messages (SMS)

When you provide your phone number — for example, on our consultation form or as part of a project agreement — you agree that we may contact you by phone call and text message (SMS) about your inquiry, consultation, and project. Message types include appointment confirmations, project and status updates, proposal and payment links, and occasional requests for feedback. These messages come from our staffed business line, not an automated marketing system.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying to a message and asking us to stop, or by calling or emailing us. Opting out of texts will not affect your ability to receive the services you have requested; we may still contact you by email or phone.

We do not sell or share your phone number or your SMS opt-in/consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the service providers that help us send these messages on our behalf (see Section 6).

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers that may collect or process your data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:

  • Vercel — website and application hosting
  • Supabase — secure database and file storage for our client portal (proposals, contracts, and project files)
  • Resend — sends our transactional and notification emails
  • Quo (OpenPhone) — sends our text messages and business calls
  • Stripe — securely processes deposit and balance payments
  • Google — Ads and conversion measurement, Fonts, Calendar scheduling, and the Places/Reviews data shown on our site
  • Meta (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel, for advertising and conversion measurement
  • Microsoft Clarity and Metricool — website analytics and, for Clarity, anonymized session recordings
  • Acorn Finance — an independent financing partner you may choose to pre-qualify with; if you do, your information is submitted directly to Acorn under its own privacy policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted through our website
  • Secure hosting environment with regular security updates
  • Restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining industry-standard protections.

8

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data from our systems
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link, or stop text messages by asking us to stop (reply to a text, call, or email)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@atlanticsource.net or call (302) 645-5207. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

9

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information from our systems.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
