Garage floor coatings
An epoxy base locked in under a polyaspartic top coat, built for vehicles — it resists hot-tire pickup, oil, brake fluid, and the road salt your car tracks in all winter.

Atlantic Source installs durable floor coatings for garages, living spaces, and commercial floors across Delaware: a pigmented epoxy base under a polyaspartic clear top coat, built over two days, not one, so the base actually bonds to your slab. Seamless, high-gloss, and made for our humidity, hot tires, and winter road salt. Every floor is priced during your free in-home consultation.

A proper epoxy floor turns a dusty slab into an easy-to-clean, showroom surface that handles cars, tools, and Delaware weather. The difference is in the prep and the system — a pigmented epoxy base under a polyaspartic clear top coat, built over two days, not a single coat rolled over an unprepared floor.
An epoxy base locked in under a polyaspartic top coat, built for vehicles — it resists hot-tire pickup, oil, brake fluid, and the road salt your car tracks in all winter.
Seamless, high-gloss, easy-to-clean coatings for basements, sunrooms, workshops, and finished living areas — plus commercial and retail floors that need to look sharp and take abuse.
Broadcast vinyl flake in dozens of color blends adds grip and a custom look while hiding minor slab imperfections — locked in under the polyaspartic clear coat.
We choose moisture-tolerant primers and systems suited to Delaware's damp coastal climate, so the coating bonds and stays bonded through humid summers.
The cured surface resists the hot-tire pickup that lifts cheap coatings, plus common garage chemicals, gas, and oil — wipe it up and move on.
We will not rush the base coat to finish in a day. It cures overnight before the top coat goes on, because a base that never bonded to the slab is exactly what peels.
An epoxy floor is the perfect finish to a full garage makeover — add it alongside our garage organization cabinets and racks.

An epoxy floor is only as good as its prep. Humidity, hot tires, and road salt destroy a poured-on coating that skipped the grind — so we do the unglamorous part right before any color goes down.
We'll bring flake color and finish samples to your free in-home consultation so you can compare options against your space and lighting.

We mechanically grind the concrete, patch cracks and pits, and clean it down to a sound, bondable surface.
Primer, the pigmented epoxy base, then broadcast color flake for grip — and we stop there, leaving the base to cure overnight.
The polyaspartic clear top coat goes on over a fully bonded base. Keep vehicles off for seven full days; you'll have exact walk-on and drive-on dates before we start.
"So impressed with Mike and his crew… They were able to remove the old wire shelves and install all 4 closets in less than 2 days. We love the additional storage we have now. Would use them again in a heartbeat."— Bonnie T.
"Mike and his team did amazing work outfitting our pantry and a few bedroom closets. They came up with great designs… all for a reasonable price. Will definitely use Atlantic Source again… highly recommend!"— Chris R.
The price depends mostly on the square footage, the condition of your existing slab, and the system you choose — a basic single-car garage is far less than a large garage that needs crack repair and a full decorative flake build. Because slab prep is the part that makes or breaks the result, we look at your actual floor and give you a detailed, fixed price during your free in-home consultation, with no surprise charges once we start grinding.
We install over two days. Day one is the grind, crack and pit repair, primer, the pigmented epoxy base, and the broadcast color flake. Day two is the polyaspartic clear top coat, which goes down over a base that has had all night to bond. After that, keep vehicles off the floor for seven full days — that is what lets the coating reach full hardness instead of taking tire impressions in its first week. You'll get exact walk-on and drive-on dates for your floor before we begin.
No, and it's deliberate. A one-day floor is an easy thing to sell because it sounds convenient, but it doesn't give the base coat time to bond to the concrete — and a base that never bonded is the single most common reason coatings lift, bubble, and peel a year or two later. We let the epoxy base cure overnight before the polyaspartic top coat goes on. It costs you one extra day and it's the difference between a floor that lasts and a floor you redo.
Peeling and hot-tire pickup almost always trace back to two things: a slab that wasn't mechanically prepped, and moisture pushing up through concrete. We address both — diamond-grinding the surface so the coating mechanically bonds, and selecting moisture-tolerant primers suited to Delaware's humid, coastal conditions. Done that way, an epoxy floor stays put through humid summers, hot tires, and the road salt tracked in over winter.
Decorative flake comes in dozens of pre-blended color combinations, from subtle grays and tans to bolder blues and earth tones, plus solid-color and metallic options. The flake adds grip and texture and helps hide minor slab imperfections, all sealed under a clear topcoat. We'll bring flake and finish samples to your free in-home consultation so you can choose the right look for your space.
Prep is where the durability comes from. We diamond-grind the concrete to open up the surface so the coating can bond, then patch cracks, fill pits, and degrease and vacuum the slab until it's clean and sound. Only then do we prime and coat. Skipping this step is why so many DIY and big-box coatings fail within a couple of winters — and why we won't do it any other way.
