For humidity, salt air, and wet rooms like baths and kitchens, our Coastal polyresin and Signature hybrid tiers resist warping, cracking, and moisture far better than solid wood — the safest choice near the water. For dry living rooms and bedrooms where you want genuine wood, Heritage painted hardwood and Reserve stained basswood are outstanding. We often mix tiers in one home, recommending the right one per room when we measure.
