How much do custom window treatments cost in Delaware?

What's the difference between shutters, shades, and blinds?
Plantation shutters are rigid louvered panels mounted to the window frame — architectural, durable, and a permanent upgrade. Softlight Shades are soft fabric coverings (cellular, verti-sheer, roller, and motorized) that raise and lower in one piece. Ashford Blinds have hard horizontal slats you tilt for light and privacy — in faux wood or aluminum. We'll help you match each room to the right line during your consultation.
Do you measure and install, or is it DIY?
We handle everything. Atlantic Source measures every window in your home, manufactures your treatments to those exact dimensions, and installs them with our own team — mounted square, level, and tested. The free in-home measure and professional installation are part of the service, not an add-on, so there's no guesswork, no returns, and no ladder time for you.
Are your window treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We strongly recommend cordless lift systems and motorized treatments, both of which eliminate the dangling cords and loops that pose a strangulation hazard to children and pets. Wynhaven shutters are cord-free by design, and cordless and motorized options are available across Softlight shades and Ashford blinds — the standard we suggest for nurseries, kids' rooms, and any home with little ones.
Can window treatments be motorized later, or only at purchase?
Motorization is easiest and cleanest to build in when your treatments are made, because the motor and power source are integrated from the start. Many shades and blinds can be motorized after the fact, but the result is tidiest when planned up front.
