What goes into a walk-in
- Double-hang sections with a fixed shelf between them, plus dedicated long-hang for dresses and coats
- Full-height gables built off the floor — not a rail hung on drywall anchors
- Adjustable shelving on the same panel, so the layout can change as your wardrobe does
- Soft-close drawers with nickel bar pulls, and an island where the floor space allows it
- Angled shoe shelving, and integrated lighting if you want it
The biggest thing that moves the number is linear feet of wall we're building against — not the size of the room on the floor plan.
What we can fit in a standard reach-in
- Double-hang over a drawer bank, which is usually where the wasted space is
- A full-height shoe tower or basket column in place of the single wire shelf
- Shelving that runs to the ceiling, so the dead space above the rod finally gets used
- Built to the real opening, including the awkward corner behind the door frame
- Same 3/4″ frameless panels and soft-close hardware as a walk-in — nothing is downgraded
A reach-in is a smaller project than a walk-in, but it is a real one — we design it to the inch rather than cutting a stock kit down.
When a wardrobe system is the right answer
- For bedrooms with no closet at all, or a closet too shallow to be worth keeping
- Built in against the wall or freestanding, finished on all visible sides
- Wood-grain and matte finishes, with glass-front doors where you want things on display
- Integrated lighting and soft-close drawers behind the doors
- Scribed to the wall and ceiling so it reads as built-in, not as furniture pushed into place

What Goes Into the Number.
We don't sell closets off a price sheet, so we won't pretend there's a sticker price. What we can do is tell you exactly what moves the cost, so you can picture where your project lands before you ever talk to us.
The size of the space
Linear feet of wall we're building against is the single biggest driver. A reach-in and a double-door walk-in are different projects even with the same design.
How much is hanging vs. built
Shelving and hanging rods are the affordable backbone. Drawers, doors, and cabinetry are joinery — every drawer box is a built object, so drawer count moves the number fast.
Finish and hardware
White melamine is the workhorse and it's what most Delaware homes get. Wood-grain and matte finishes, glass fronts, and upgraded pulls each step it up.
The extras that make it feel custom
Islands, dressing counters, pull-out mirrors, angled shoe shelving, valet rods, and integrated lighting. None are required; all of them are the difference between storage and a dressing room.
How many closets at once
Doing the primary, the guest room, and the linen closet in one visit costs less per closet than three separate trips. Most of our whole-home projects start as one room.
