One Shutter, Four Ways to Build It.
What the Signature tier is built from
- A real poplar and Baltic birch hardwood core clad in a rigid poly shell — never painted, so there's nothing to chip, peel, or yellow in a sunny window
- 3″ and 4″ louvers built on a cellular air core that slows heat transfer at the glass and softens outside noise
- Louvers from 3″ to 4.5″ — wider louvers mean a cleaner view out and fewer panels
- Triple-dowel joinery — three two-inch hardwood dowels per joint, which is what keeps a wide panel dead-straight over the years
- Six finishes, and your choice of a traditional front tilt rod, a back-side tilt rod, or full-view hidden tilt
Shutters are cord-free by nature — there's nothing to tilt but the louvers themselves, by hand. Motorized tilt isn't offered on this line.
What the Coastal tier is built from
- Polyresin with an insulating open core and solid corner joint blocks — it won't warp, crack, or swell in humidity
- Built for baths, kitchens, laundries and shore homes where wood has a hard life
- Louvers in 3″ and 4″, in White and Swiss Coffee
- Full-view hidden tilt comes standard at no upcharge, so nothing crosses the view
- Wipes clean with a damp cloth — no refinishing, ever
Our most affordable tier, and the one we steer people toward for a bathroom or a bay-facing shore window.
What the Heritage tier is built from
- Traditional 100% hardwood, kiln-dried and hand-sanded before finishing
- A baked-in four-coat finish — two coats of primer and two of finish paint, baked on, not brushed
- Eighteen painted colors, from trim whites through warm neutrals and greys
- Louvers from 2.5″ to 4.5″, so it suits a small cottage window or a tall bank of glass
- Triple-dowel joinery for a shutter that stays square for decades
If your trim is a specific white and you want the shutters to disappear into it, this is the tier with the whites to get close. For an exact custom match, that's the Reserve line.
What the Reserve tier is built from
- 100% North American basswood, hand-picked and solid — no lamination lines or finger joints to show through the stain
- Stained and clear-coated twice over for a soft, fine-furniture finish
- Eleven stains, plus raw basswood and unlimited custom stain and paint matching to an existing floor, door or cabinet run
- Louvers from 2.5″ to 4.5″
- The only tier where the grain is the point — it reads as furniture, not as a window covering

We don't quote shutters off a price list — every window is measured and built to fit. These are the things that actually move the number, so you know what you're weighing before we ever come out.
How many windows
Shutters are priced per window opening, so the count matters more than anything else. Most homeowners start with one room — a living room, a primary bedroom — and add on later.
Window size & shape
A standard double-hung is straightforward. Arches, angles, bay corners, and french doors take custom fabrication and more time on the install.
The material tier
Moisture-proof poly, hardwood-core hybrid, painted hardwood, and stained basswood each sit at a different level. The right one depends on the room as much as the budget.
Louver size & configuration
Wider louvers mean a cleaner view out and fewer panels; divider rails, bypass tracks, and cut-outs for handles all add fabrication.
Finish & hardware
Standard whites are the baseline. Custom colour matching, stains, and specialty hinge finishes are where a project moves upmarket.
Install complexity
Square, plumb openings go fast. Older Delaware homes that have settled need shimming and custom frames — we'd rather find that at the consultation than on install day.
